The fitness field is quite often the last choice most people turn to, to become healthy. This is understandable due to the way the media makes it seem as though health and beauty are attained by creams, juice fasts, special shoes, pills, ab-rockers, you name it! This combined with many of the negative experiences that many individuals have associated with the dreaded "gym class" creates an ever growing gap of the physical haves and have not's. So we either feel that we just are an unhealthy person and that is all we will ever be, or we spend years looking for the next magic pill. This magic pill exists! But it is jagged, and takes a minimum of an hour 2 to 3 times a week to swallow. This pill is called exercise!
At Empower, we believe we can rectify these series of irrational beliefs. Empowered fitness is the ability to use your body without it becoming a hindrance.
